We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a real estate property and facilities management organization in Nashville, Tennessee. This contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, accurate with data, and confident managing invoice and payment activity in a fast-paced office setting. The role focuses on maintaining reliable accounting records, assisting with both payables and receivables, and using Quick Books to keep transactions current and well documented.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain financial data with a high level of accuracy across accounting records and supporting documents.
• Process vendor invoices, verify details, and prepare accounts payable transactions for timely payment.
• Record incoming payments and update accounts receivable information to help keep customer balances accurate.
• Use Quick Books to post transactions, review account activity, and support routine bookkeeping tasks.
• Organize invoice documentation and ensure records are complete, traceable, and easy to retrieve when needed.
• Reconcile financial information by comparing entries, resolving discrepancies, and following up on missing details.
• Assist with administrative accounting tasks that support efficient daily operations within the department.
