JOB DESCRIPTION STAFF ACCOUNTANT: DETAILS

Monday-Friday | Standard Business Hours
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1+ years of staff accountant experience
- Strong understanding of and experience in applying generally accepted accounting procedures in a corporate setting.
- Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties.
- Preparation and distribution of preliminary and final monthly Profit and Loss Statements, Financial Reporting Interaction with Executives, DVP's, RVP's and location managers/directors
- Document and maintain accounting procedures
- Balance Sheet analysis to improve and shorten closings
- General accounting support
- Essential Balance Sheet Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Other duties may be assigned. - Bank Reconciliations & Cash Reconciliations
- Fixed Assets
- Document and maintain accounting procedures
- Balance sheet detail analysis
- General accounting support
- Sales Tax Returns
- Port Fee Returns & Analysis
- 941 reconciliations
