Internal Auditor IV

FM seeks an experienced Internal Auditor IV to lead complex risk-based audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas. You will design audit plans, perform detailed testing, evaluate internal controls, and deliver clear, actionable reports to leadership. Partnering with business teams, you'll identify control gaps, recommend process improvements, and monitor remediation. This senior role also mentors junior auditors, supports special projects and investigations, and contributes to continuous risk assessment to strengthen governance and organizational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and reporting of complex risk-based internal audits.
• Assess design and effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls.
• Develop audit programs, test procedures, and sampling strategies.
• Identify control gaps, root causes, and practical remediation recommendations.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor remediation plans and validate completion of agreed actions.
• Advise management on risk, controls, and process improvement opportunities.
• Mentor and review work of junior audit staff; promote audit best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to obtain data, understand processes, and build rapport.
• Support special projects, investigations, and continuous risk assessment activities.
