Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Accounting & Finance to provide leadership and stability during a key transition period. This hands-on leadership role will oversee core accounting operations, support financial reporting and audit activities, and help drive accountability across domestic and international accounting teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic accounting professional who can operate independently while providing executive-level financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities
- Interim Director of Accounting & Finance

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and overall accounting operations
• Review, analyze, and interpret financial statements from internal and global employees for leadership decision-making
• Support internal audit initiatives and strengthen accounting controls
• Provide leadership and oversight to both internal and overseas accounting teams
• Ensure continuity and efficiency of accounting functions during a leadership transition
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational efficiencies
• Drive accountability across the accounting and finance organization
• Communicate with banking partners and support capital raise initiatives when needed
• Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to executive stakeholders

Qualifications
- Interim Director of Accounting & Finance

• Proven Controller-level or senior accounting leadership experience required
• Sage Intacct experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong accounting foundation with advanced tax knowledge
• Experience managing accounting and finance teams in a leadership capacity
• Demonstrated experience overseeing AP, AR, collections, and general accounting functions
• Ability to work independently and provide executive-level financial oversight
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with banks and capital raise activities is a plus
• Healthcare industry experience is beneficial but not required
• Available to work 100% onsite in Nashville, Tennessee
• Able to start immediately on a temporary/interim basis
