Our client, a growing healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Interim Accounting Manager to provide hands-on financial leadership. This fully onsite role will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance, while partnering closely with executive leadership to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Interim Accounting Manager

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning activities
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Support audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
• Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to leadership
• Mentor and guide accounting team members while ensuring department productivity

Qualifications
- Interim Accounting Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA strongly preferred not required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
• Previous management experience required
• Healthcare/Medical industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
• Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance requirements
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work fully onsite in Nashville, TN and quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment
