Account Manager

A business management firm is seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial activities of assigned clients. This role includes client service, accounting oversight, and supervision and development of bookkeeping staff.

• Manage daily financial activity and respond to client requests
• Monitor cash balances and coordinate account funding
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations and cash flow reports
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Review bookkeeping, billing, payroll, and timekeeping records
• Maintain accurate personal and business general ledgers
• Supervise, train, and mentor bookkeeping staff
• Coordinate with senior team members to maintain accurate client records
• Identify and implement process improvements

• At least 4 years of experience with a business management firm
• Strong accounting and client-service background
• Experience supervising or reviewing the work of bookkeeping staff
• Entertainment industry experience preferred
• Proficiency with business management or accounting software
• Strong communication, organization, and independent decision-making skills
• Ability to work in-office in Nashville
