Position: Property Tax Analyst (On-Site)

Rogers Group is currently seeking a Property Tax Analyst to join our team on-site at the corporate office in Nashville, TN. This position reports directly to the Corporate Tax Manager. The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing Business Personal and Real Property Tax compliance, including data preparation, return review, and coordination with external compliance partners.
  • Receive and submit tax assessments to external compliance partners.
  • Receive and pay tax bills in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and validate asset and property tax data to ensure accurate and timely filings.
  • Support audit activities by gathering documentation, preparing responses, and tracking auditor requests.
  • Manage monthly property tax accruals, forecast, and true-ups.
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules for property tax accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and taxing jurisdictions to support property tax compliance and savings initiatives.
  • Cross train with sales and other indirect tax functions.
Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s in accounting related field preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
