Accounting Manager

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
Location: Nashville, TN

We’re working with a growing Nashville organization that is looking for an Accounting Manager to join its team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with the accounting function while also leading a small team. You’ll have the chance to improve processes, help create efficiencies, and work closely with leadership as the organization continues to grow.

• Lead, support, and develop a small accounting team.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial processes.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Help ensure financial records are accurate, timely, and well maintained.

• Support payroll, incentive compensation, and other accounting-related functions.

• Manage vendor payments and maintain positive vendor relationships.

• Assist with compliance, risk management, and other finance-related administrative responsibilities.

• Review customer account setup and supporting documentation.

• Look for opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.

• Partner with management on financial reporting, analysis, and operational needs.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• Previous experience leading or managing a team.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Hands-on experience with general accounting, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and great communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience working in a fast-paced or operationally focused environment.

• Experience with in inventory, distribution, manufacturing, or a multi-location organization.
