The Role

As a Guest Services Representative
, you’ll deliver a welcoming, high-quality experience for Kirkland & Ellis (K&E) personnel and visitors while supporting the smooth operation of our Conference Center. With a hospitality-forward mindset and strong attention to detail, you’ll manage guest interactions, conference room logistics, and day-to-day coordination to ensure every visit reflects the firm’s high standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Guest Experience & Hospitality: Welcome guests, clients, and K&E personnel with a professional, friendly presence while ensuring a consistently high level of service throughout their visit.
  • Security & Access Management: Verify identification, manage lobby access, arrange temporary IDs, and observe and report unusual or suspicious activity to maintain a secure environment.
  • Visitor Support: Direct and escort visitors to conference rooms or offices and provide light administrative support such as printing, scanning, and copying.
  • Conference Center Coordination: Inspect and set conference rooms daily, manage reservations and visiting offices through the Event Management System, and monitor the Conference Center mailbox for timely responses.
  • Food & Beverage Presentation: Coordinate and maintain food displays with strong attention to detail, clear signage, and an emphasis on visual appeal.
  • Administrative Operations: Handle incoming calls, manage email correspondence, open and close the reception area, and keep reception and conference spaces clean, organized, and client-ready.
  • Information & Wayfinding: Answer general questions related to firm services, office locations, and directions for both walking and driving.
  • Team & Facilities Support: Collaborate with local team members to submit office and building maintenance requests and provide overtime coverage for early morning or after-hours events as needed.
What You’ll Bring
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: At least three years of related experience preferred, ideally in hospitality, customer service, or a high-end, fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: A polished, professional presence with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to exceptional service.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Clear, confident written and verbal communication, including excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to adjust to changing schedules, manage multiple priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaboration & Focus: Comfort working both independently and as part of a team while meeting time-sensitive demands.
  • Technology Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
