Mailroom Clerk
Nashville, TN (onsite)
3+Month (Temp to Perm)
Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm
Seeking a professional and adaptable Legal Office Services Associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced legal office environment. This role involves mail services, copy/print production, document scanning, shipping and receiving, records support, and customer service while handling confidential legal documents with accuracy and professionalism.
- Sort, distribute, process, and track incoming/outgoing mail, certified mail, packages, faxes, and shipments.
- Operate mail processing equipment, postage meters, copiers, printers, scanners, and related office equipment.
- Complete copy, print, binding, finishing, scanning, OCR, file conversion, formatting, and document management tasks.
- Perform floor runs, supply distribution, and delivery of completed jobs throughout the office.
- Maintain copier areas, replenish supplies, clear paper jams, and coordinate service requests.
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including package handling and inventory tracking.
- Maintain logs, records, billing information, and service documentation as required.
- Assist with filing, archiving, records management, and special projects.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide professional support to legal staff and office personnel.
- Coordinate time-sensitive projects while ensuring quality, confidentiality, and accuracy.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous copy, print, mailroom, records, or office services experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of legal industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email systems.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot office equipment, including copiers, printers, scanners, and postage machines.
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing demands.
- Comfortable walking throughout multiple office floors during the workday.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and office technology preferred.
