Job Summary
American Express is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Office Assistant to support fast-growing startup teams within our organization. - Provide administrative and clerical support to startup teams and department leaders.
- Manage daily office operations including filing, documentation, data entry, and record maintenance.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating calendars.
- Handle internal and external communications such as emails, calls, and correspondence.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation and orientation coordination.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as required.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and basic spreadsheets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality standards, and operational procedures.
- Support special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- 0–2 years of experience in an office assistant, administrative, or support role.
- Fresh graduates with strong administrative skills and internship exposure are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in startup or corporate environments is an added advantage.
