Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer multiple incoming telephone lines.
- Take and route messages when appropriate.
- Make appointments for customers.
- Manage calendars for office personnel.
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the office.
- Perform general clerical functions for the office.
- Maintain a clean, professional front office.

Serve as temporary administrative assistant as assigned for various departments at Belmont University.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic computer functions including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple incoming phone lines and voicemail.
- Ability to deal with several customers simultaneously and prioritize needs as necessary.
- Eagerness to assist internal and/or external customers with a professional and courteous attitude.
- Ability to work in a team environment with diverse constituents.
- Professional mannerism and appearance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Required Education High school diploma or GED required. Some college-level coursework preferred.
Required Experience 0-2 years office or customer service experience. Computer skills require basic MS Office and internet use.
The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
