- Manage recruitment, admission, and enrollment operations across LL.M., M.L.S., and summer Legal Studies programs
- Process confidential applications and application materials
- Serve as the primary point of contact for M.L.S. and LL.M. admission inquiries, applicants, and entering students
- Answer and distribute admissions email and telephone inquiries
- Process electronic applications in Slate and LSAC UNITE
- Identify missing application materials and resolve incomplete items
- Generate approved application fee waivers and upload/finalize admission decisions and scholarship awards
- Support recruiting events, virtual forums, information sessions, and the LL.M. WeChat group
- Ship and track recruiting collateral and admissions materials
- Maintain recruiting collateral inventory
- Update LL.M. websites using Omni
- Coordinate and host prospective student Zoom meetings
- Work with third-party vendors on post-admission communications and admit-kit shipping
- Read applications and render admissions decisions with the Associate Director
- Support M.L.S. scholarship programs and recruitment tools
- Monitor and process final transcripts and maintain university/degree records
- Support onboarding, orientation, immigration needs, I-20 processing, immunization statuses, card photos, arrival check-in, and ongoing student needs
- Welcome entering LL.M. students arriving from abroad and provide university/Nashville information
- Conduct annual outreach to global M.L.S. and LL.M. alumni
- Provide administrative support to the Assistant Dean and Associate Director
- Collaborate with JD Admissions, Legal Studies staff, University administration, third-party vendors, and Communications
- Report administratively and functionally to the Assistant Dean for Legal Studies
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is necessary
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in a higher education setting or student services environment preferred
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and university/law school systems, including Zoom, WeChat, Canva, and Omni
- Prior experience and/or working knowledge of Slate and LSAC UNITE preferred
Demonstrates expertise in managing recruitment and admissions processes for LL.M. and M.L.S. programs, with strong organizational and project management skills. Proficient in utilizing various university systems and tools to support student services and enhance communication with prospective students.
