Medical Front Desk Receptionist; Part-Time

Now recruiting for a friendly front desk receptionist to work part-time at our Nashville Gastroenterology practice.
Wednesdays and Fridays from
7am to 4pm.

• Greet and assist patients and visitors, sign them in and obtain insurance information and other necessary data
• Maintain the organization of a medical office and ensure the medical environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for patients and their families.
• Provide compassionate service to patients while managing patient communication, filing, and answering telephones
• Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients. Coordinate patient and physician schedules.
• Answer multi-line phones and help handle patient needs and requests.
• Maintain electronic and hard copy patient records.
• Provide administrative support to the office and team members.

• High school diploma required;
  Associates preferred
• Years of experience: 1-2 years

• Uniform allowance

• Day shift
• Wednesdays and Fridays from
  7am to 4pm.

  Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location:

Multiple locations in Middle Tennessee. Occasional floating to our satellite clinics in Smyrna, Gallatin and Clarksville may be required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
