Administrative Services Specialist (Procurement Support)
Job Type: W2 Contract
Contract Duration: 9 Months, Possible Extension
Location: Nashville, Tennessee 37243
Work Setting: Hybrid
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $26.25/hr.
Our client is seeking an experienced Administrative Services Specialist to support procurement operations and administrative functions within a complex business environment. This role will provide high-level administrative support, assist with procurement-related activities, prepare operational and financial reports, conduct research, and support the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced administrative support for a complex office environment.
- Support procurement-related functions and activities.
- Create and maintain operational and financial reports for departmental operations and programs.
- Assist leadership with the development, implementation, and enforcement of policies and procedures related to procurement and administrative services.
- Independently develop and revise policies and procedures for new or existing administrative programs and services.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and internal/external stakeholders to explain, interpret, and enforce applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct research on fiscal, economic, legislative, legal, and administrative topics to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate administrative projects and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor and support ongoing administrative and procurement processes.
- Perform additional professional administrative duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible professional administrative experience.
- Experience supporting procurement functions and procurement-related processes.
- Strong experience with operational reporting, financial reporting, research, and administrative operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
