About The Company:
Our client is a well-established organization seeking temporary administrative support for their Claims department while a team member is out on leave. This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrative professional to gain exposure to a claims-focused environment.
Job Description:
The Claims Administrative Support professional will assist with day-to-day document processing, data entry, records management, and file organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a large volume of information across multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain information accurately within internal systems and databases.
- Prepare paper and electronic records for scanning and digital storage.
- Organize and categorize claims-related documentation to ensure files are complete and easy to access.
- Scan and upload documents into the appropriate claims systems.
- Prepare files for both onsite and offsite record storage.
- Assist with document and file submission projects.
- Review information for accuracy and address discrepancies when identified.
- Work across multiple software platforms to complete administrative tasks.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Claims team as needed.
- Handle repetitive and detail-oriented assignments while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of administrative experience.
- Strong data entry and document management skills.
- Experience working with databases, electronic records, or multiple computer systems.
- Ability to organize and manage a high volume of files and documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
- Insurance or claims experience is preferred, but not required.
Additional Details:
- This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 4–5 months.
- The position is fully onsite and requires consistent attendance Monday through Friday.
