Position Description
Provide general office maintenance and perform cleaning services to enable efficient office operations resulting in an excellent environment experience for staff and guests. Assist Office Services Hospitality staff with facilities related matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and regular office maintenance and light cleaning throughout New York office, including conference rooms, kitchens, common areas, restrooms, and phone and huddle rooms.
- Provide professional customer service and positive interactions, recognize office organizational hierarchy and promptly

* * issues to appropriate contact. - Responsive to office or facility service requests and support day-to-day facilities management (e.g., repairs, HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning), janitorial and housekeeping services, lighting), liaise with building/facilities manager as directed.
- Serve as point of contact for external office vendors and service technicians; and provide appropriate level of access for vendors/technicians to perform duties while preserving security of office and staff.
- Take notice of basic office related safety-related hazards and take action and/or seek guidance for corrective action.
- Review weekly event and meeting schedules in collaboration with Office Services Hospitality to coordinate daily activities and required services.
- Prepare meeting rooms for events, set up and break down rooms, including restocking of supplies and emptying trashcans, throughout the day.
- Track and replenish selected inventory, including cleaning supplies, sanitizers, and dispensers.
- Receive and stock food and beverage deliveries.
- Perform maintenance of office kitchens, cafes, and executive lounges; ensure well-stocked with beverages, condiments, snacks, paper goods, mugs, glasses, and silverware.
- Perform regular kitchen duties throughout day, including collecting used mugs, glasses and silverware, load/unload dishwashers, refrigerator cleaning, and service microwaves, sinks, and coffee and espresso machines.
- Support coordination and execution of local office moves as needed.
- Collaborate with functional leads (e.g., Office Manager, Human Resources (HR), Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S)) to display related policy and safety signage.
- Participate in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) reviews to identify and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement in areas of responsibility to increase quality of work and productivity
- Stay up to date with office emergency protocols and resources (e.g., equipment, AED/CPR, and certified staff).
- Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year of customer service or maintenance services experience in office setting or service industry, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- Approachable and customer service-oriented with proactive, positive, and professional attitude
- Basic understanding of office and facilities management
- Familiar with and willingness to learn office, kitchen, and facilities equipment (e.g., copiers, kitchen appliances, coffee machines, water filtration systems)
- Clear verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
- Exhibit interpersonal skills and establish working relationships with others
- Able to take direction, work independently with management oversight, and as part of a team
