Sr. Operations Coordinator

Foxfire is seeking a Senior Operations Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced freight brokerage environment and knows how to execute at a high level. This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone with 3+ years of freight brokerage experience who understands load coverage, carrier negotiations, compliance, customer expectations and can move quickly without sacrificing accuracy. You will play a critical role in client solutions, carrier facing operations and building relationships with our top customers.

• Source, negotiate, and secure carriers quickly and profitably
• Cover loads across multiple modes (Expedite, White glove, high touch)
• Maintain high service levels and ensure top notch client experience via the Foxfire operating standard

• Build and expand carrier relationships
• Perform thorough compliance checks following Foxfire's extensive internal vetting protocol
• Proactively manage risk and fraud prevention

• Assist sales and leadership in meeting client needs and helping expand our relationships
• Adapt quickly to changing customer requirements and shipment variables
• Provide proactive tracking updates and real-time issue resolution

• Prevent service failures before they happen with proactive planning, appointment changes, accessorial negotiations, and reroutes
• Think independently and act decisively

• Maintain accurate load notes, rate confirmations, and communication records
• Ensure billing accuracy and proper documentation flow with TMS

• 3+ years experience in freight brokerage operations
• Proven ability to move quickly and manage multiple loads simultaneously
• Strong problem solving, organization, negotiation and communication skills
• High urgency with attention to detail
• Experience with carrier vetting
