About Intown Golf Club

Intown Golf Club is redefining the modern golf experience, blending technology, hospitality, and community to create an unparalleled environment for members. As we continue to enhance our club experience and membership offerings, we are seeking a people‑person with very high attention to detail to generate high membership engagement within the club and its membership by fostering a deep sense of community.

About

The Role

We are seeking a Events & Member Relations Manager (Community Manager) – a service‑oriented individual who thrives at connecting people and creating community
. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role responsible for ideating, facilitating, and executing all types of club event programming – whether F&B or Lifestyle‑based programming – as well as facilitating the needs of our members who host their own private events, to ensure all members are highly engaged with the club, and create meaningful and lasting connections with each other.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Events, and potentially the Membership Sales Team, depending on market‑specific membership sales requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Create, Facilitate, and Execute Club Events – Conceptualize and execute various weekly club events, big or small, with the goal of generating engagement and facilitating meaningful connections within the membership.
  • Facilitate and Execute Private Events – Respond to private event requests, collaborate with the host based on event purpose and vision, negotiate pricing and details with both the host and the internal team – FOH, BOH, Golf – and ensure the event is executed flawlessly.
  • Onboard New Members – Welcome each new member to the club and educate them on all critical information – account setup, billing, how‑to guides, code of conduct, upcoming events, etc. – as well as facilitate introductions to key club‑level staff and other members, so they can immediately become part of the community and enhance their enjoyment of the club.
  • Act as Primary Contact for All Members – Help members resolve any and all issues related to billing, usage of the club, events, feedback, and triage accordingly to the appropriate internal department.
  • (Market‑Specific, If Needed):
Assist with Membership Sales Efforts – Conduct tours for member prospects, educate them on the benefits of membership, and help the membership team with the vetting process to ensure each member is a great cultural fit.
What We’re Looking For
  • Blend of Marketing, Hospitality & Operations Expertise – You’ve worked for a brand/marketing agency, private club, hotel, or fine dining restaurant in marketing activation, event management, operations, or member/guest relations capacity.
  • Genuine Interest and Curiosity in all Golf Culture, Food, Lifestyle, Luxury, and Travel Experiences – Voracious consumer and ambassador of all things cool.
  • Service‑oriented Mindset & Genuine Desire to Connect People – Willing to get to know, understand, and facilitate the needs of each and every member; foster connections with like‑minded members to create community.
  • Genuine Interest and Curiosity in all Cultural, Lifestyle, and Golf Trends and Experiences – You are a voracious consumer and ambassador of all things timeless, modern, relevant, and cool.
  • Extremely High Attention to Detail – Willing to go the extra mile to design and execute event programming that truly make them unique, and reflect the ethos of the club’s mission and brand.
  • Problem Solver & Strategic Thinker – Able to step back and assess the big picture while also diving into the details.
Experience & Education
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant role, such as event management, member/guest relations, membership services, community development, hospitality operations (fine dining, restaurant, hotel, private club, etc.).
  • Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, membership, operations, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Hospitality) is a plus but not required – real‑world experience matters more.
Why Join Intown Golf Club?

This is a high‑impact role where you will shape how members interact with the club and each other, enhance members’ and guests’ enjoyment of the club, and foster a great culture of community. If you love getting to know people, creating meaningful connections, and have a never‑say‑no attitude, we’d love to hear from you.
