Purchasing Representative

Support the Sales side of our business by maintaining the flow of inventory on select product lines, working closely with vendors to manage purchase orders from submission through the receiving process. Regularly meet with the purchasing team and vendors to continually develop our product offering.

• Analyze inventory data in using suggested PO detail queue & other Eclipse tools
• Create and submit purchase orders with vendors
• Support both inside and outside sales team with lead times and pricing as requested
• Regularly meet with vendors to provide feedback for their service and explore new products and promotions to support our business
• Stay up to date with industry changes that may affect the products you purchase
• Work with receiving department to resolve shipping errors
• Work with Accounts Payable to resolve billing/pricing errors
• Follow up on past due purchase orders and correct expected receive dates in Eclipse

Successful Candidates will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

• 3-5 years in a similar role in HVAC procurement, inventory management(preferred)
• Strong analytical skills using general math to interpret sales and inventory data
• Ability to clearly communicate with vendors both verbally and in writing
• Willing to share workload and collaborate as a part of a strong team atmosphere
• Experience with Eclipse or similar purchasing software, a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (preferred)
• Ability to maintain focus and composure when multi-tasking
