About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Business Analysis, for a contract-to-hire opportunity within our Portfolio Management team. This role is ideal for a seasoned business analysis leader who can think strategically, operate hands-on, and support complex cross-functional business and technology initiatives from discovery through delivery.
The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, process improvement, solution design, consulting, or related disciplines, preferably in healthcare or another complex, matrixed organization.
Experience with enterprise applications, systems integrations, data flows, process redesign, portfolio or project delivery, SDLC, and agile ways of working is strongly preferred.
We’re looking for an action-oriented, detail-driven problem solver who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and guiding stakeholders toward alignment, decisions, and adoption of practical solutions.
This role will partner across clinical, operational, technology, and central services teams to help mature the business analysis function and team while directly supporting high-impact enterprise initiatives.
The DetailsThis is a full-time, contract position with the potential for future conversion to a permanent position, subject to business needs and organizational approval.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Lead the business analysis function for the Portfolio Management team, establishing standards, methodologies, governance, templates, and best practices for requirements management, process documentation, solution design, and business analysis deliverables.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to identify business needs, process gaps, and operational challenges through discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, root-cause analysis, and business process assessments.
- Lead cross-functional discovery workshops, process mapping sessions, and requirements discussions to build alignment, resolve competing priorities, and drive informed decision-making.
- Drive process improvement and workflow redesign efforts for strategic initiatives, applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies to deliver measurable business outcomes.
