As a Salesforce developer, you will identify, design, and deploy technology and process solutions, establishing key business capabilities enabling the realization of strategic initiatives and operational improvements of Starbucks’ global Salesforce orgs spanning products such as Sales Cloud, B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, and others. This role requires proficiency in requirement analysis, solution design coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively across various technical and business partners across the company to maximize the benefits of the Salesforce platform, with a focus on elevating the user experience.
In addition to delivering well architected salesforce solutions, this role requires leadership through a strong customer service orientation and continuous improvement mindset to elevate partner (employee) and customer user experience. The ability to lead, influence, negotiate, driving alignment and coach/mentor less experienced developers and partner effectively with others is critical to success in this role. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Technical Design and Implementation
- Support project initiation efforts by assisting in the definition of project scope, identification of the targeted solution. Assist project management in planning, estimating, scheduling, prioritization, and resource allocation exercises.
- Participate in the solution design process: requirements gathering and backlog refinement, contributes to functional design, and leads technical design and development. Mitigates risk with prototypes and proof of concepts for complex problems as appropriate. Build incrementally, with an eye toward vision of the final product. Provide transparency in approach and progress, throughout the process.
- Develop software solutions to business problems. Leverage established design patterns and coding standards. Build solutions that are secure, durable, scalable, flexible, and accessible and proactively mitigate against production support issues.
- Utilize agile delivery methodologies and participate in scrum teams in the execution of solution delivery projects.
- Create and maintain documentation supporting training, system administration, deployment, and operational processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate system proficiency and leverage subject matter expertise to perform root cause analysis and assess issue trends.
- Coordinate issue resolution with vendors and/or cross-functional teams. Provide timely and thorough communication regarding issue status/resolution with end-users and other key stakeholders.
