Base Pay Range $85,000 - $95,000
Highly Respected General Contractor with a backlog of medical / healthcare / commercial builds in major markets throughout the US is seeking to add an Estimator to its operations at Headquarters in Nashville, TN.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in commercial construction estimating, large project management, and cost control. If you have a passion for negotiating contracts, pricing projects, and ensuring accurate estimates, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Prepare and develop accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Assist with large project management and cost control efforts.
- Negotiate contracts and price projects to achieve competitive yet profitable bids.
- Ensure accuracy of estimates through thorough analysis and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with project teams to support bid planning and execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, or similar estimating software
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
