As a
Project Estimator
, you will responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for pavement maintenance, line striping, concrete services, bollard installation, and related facility maintenance projects. The Project Estimator plays a critical role in driving profitability while maintaining Ever Line’s high standards of quality and customer service.
Ever Line Coatings and Services is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Project Estimator to join our growing team. This role blends technical estimating with proactive customer development. The ideal candidate is comfortable in the field and in front of clients, understands how to build value, and can convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships while maintaining profitable pricing.
Responsibilities WHAT YOU’LL DO- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, and commercial clients.
- Perform site visits to evaluate project scope, measurements, surface conditions, and access requirements.
- Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
- Prepare professional proposals and bids that align with company pricing standards and margins.
- Review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure complete and compliant estimates.
- Collaborate with operations and project management to confirm feasibility and execution plans.
- Follow up on bids and actively manage the sales pipeline to close projects.
- Track bid activity, follow up with clients, and support the sales process as needed.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, pricing, and awarded projects.
- Continuously analyze pricing trends, material costs, and labor productivity to refine estimating accuracy.
- Experience in estimating, pavement maintenance operations, or pavement maintenance services sales preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to read job conditions, understand costs, and price work for profitability.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working independently in the field.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for site visits.
