Concrete Superintendent – Commercial Construction

A well established and growing commercial concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on large scale cast in place concrete projects in the Nashville market.

This position is best suited for a hands on field leader with deep structural concrete experience who can drive schedule, enforce safety, and manage crews with confidence.

The Concrete Superintendent will oversee daily field operations and be responsible for delivering high quality concrete work safely and on schedule. This individual will coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials while maintaining strong communication with project management and trade partners.

• Lead day to day structural concrete operations including foundations, slabs on grade, elevated decks, walls, columns, and site concrete
• Supervise foremen, crews, and subcontractors
• Develop and manage short term and look ahead schedules

• Coordinate manpower levels and equipment needs
• Review construction drawings and specifications
• Oversee formwork systems, rebar installation, embeds, anchor bolts, and concrete placement
• Monitor productivity and adjust resources to maintain schedule

• Enforce strict jobsite safety standards and conduct daily safety meetings
• Ensure all work meets quality control standards and project specifications
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or cost

• Partner closely with Project Managers and Engineers
• Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
• Provide consistent field reporting and progress updates

• 5+ years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent or Senior Concrete Foreman
• Strong background in commercial structural concrete construction
• Experience managing large scale cast in place projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proven leadership managing field crews and subcontractors
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safety practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
