A leading Nashville area commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This role will focus on delivering accurate, competitive bids across a variety of commercial projects, including healthcare and other complex builds.
This is an opportunity to work with a respected team known for quality execution and long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates from conceptual design through final bid
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare quantity takeoffs
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Develop scope sheets and level bid comparisons
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams during preconstruction
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Support proposal development and client presentations as needed
- 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Experience with healthcare or technically complex projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local subcontractor market
- Ability to interpret plans, specs, and contract documents
- Proficiency in estimating software and takeoff tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
