- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience at a framing and drywall company supervising projects of wide-ranging sizes. Supervision experience should include manpower, communication with project staff, safety and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Build strategic relationships with Project Mangers, General Contractors and Subcontractors to determine project need’s and monitor and report on project progress.
- Advanced knowledge of technical construction methods, construction operations and processes, cost impact analysis, local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction.
- Setting performance goals and deadlines. Foster a team environment to ensure good communication, coordination of duties, and effective problem solving of on-site issues and emergencies.
- Oversee adherence of the current safety program by all construction personnel. Implement safety and quality guidelines as necessary. Ensuring the job site remains safe and clean.
- Organize and order appropriate equipment and equipment maintenance. Keep track of material stock, placement in correct work areas and incoming material orders.
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and enforce established standards.
- Embody the company’s mission, vision, culture, and values. Lead the project with integrity, fairness, and honesty.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction science/management, or significant industry experience leading large and complex projects. Industry experience can replace a university degree.
- Demonstrated experience as a commercial construction superintendent or in a similar role.
- Previous experience utilizing construction computer technology systems (Bluebeam, Procore)
- Must be willing to travel between jobsites
- Must have a valid Driver's license
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Knowledge of framing and drywall preferred
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be diligent and proactive in carrying out your duties
