Green Key Resources is partnering with one of Nashville's most established and highly respected General Contractors to hire a Superintendent for their growing team.

This is an opportunity to join a long-standing, highly reputable builder with a strong backlog of work across commercial, education, hospitality, justice, civil, and infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast. The company is known for its strong culture, employee retention, and commitment to delivering complex, high-profile projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors, field staff, and project teams to maintain project progress and productivity.
  • Develop and implement site logistics, site utilization, and sequencing plans.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor project quality and proactively identify and resolve field issues.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, weather logs, and project documentation.
  • Foster strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
  • Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns, and other field personnel.
  • Champion jobsite safety and maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Ground-up commercial construction experience preferred.
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field operations.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple trades and maintain project momentum.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with construction management software such as Viewpoint is a plus.
