Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie has exciting opportunities in multiple locations for upcoming graduates interested in full-time employment in the construction industry as an Assistant Field Manager.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

* Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned

* Reviews and interprets shop drawings

* Reviews submittals and expedites materials

* Monitors production rates and schedules

* Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity

* Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list

* Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement

* Assists with reporting obligations

* Must be an upcoming graduate of an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in construction, engineering, or related field

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields will be considered.

* Ability to multitask

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Superior organizational skills
