As the Estimator / Preconstruction Manager, you will lead all preconstruction efforts and serve as the strategic bridge between concept and construction.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, bid packages, and proposals

Evaluating drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements

Soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier pricing

Developing scopes of work and managing competitive bidding processes

Working closely with project managers, superintendents, executives, architects, and clients

Providing value engineering solutions that improve project outcomes and cost efficiency

Tracking local labor trends, material pricing, and market conditions

Maintaining and expanding relationships with Middle Tennessee subcontractors and vendors

Supporting continuous improvement of estimating systems, databases, and historical cost records

5+ years of commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems

Experience working within the Middle Tennessee construction market

Established relationships with local subcontractors and suppliers highly preferred

Proficiency with Excel and estimating software platforms

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
