- Oversee field‑based project activities, coordinating site improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and installation efforts to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate subcontractors, sequence field activities, and maintain a productive jobsite that aligns with drawings, specifications, and project milestones.
- Monitor workmanship in the field, identify deficiencies early, and drive punch list and corrective action completion before closeout.
- Track site activity through daily reports, short range scheduling updates, labor coordination, and communication with project leadership.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, confirm proper storage conditions, and help ensure crews have what they need to execute efficiently.
- Support project quality efforts through preparatory planning, in process checks, final reviews, and documentation tied to definable scopes of work.
- Help uphold site safety standards by reinforcing procedures, monitoring PPE use, coordinating activity specific briefings, and addressing unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain organized project records and assist with site meetings, progress reviews, and coordination with vendors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- At least 3 years of experience in a field leadership role such as superintendent, foreman, site supervisor, or quality focused construction lead.
- At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: excavation, reinforced concrete, industrial fencing, trenching, conduit installation, or similar heavy field construction scopes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, field layouts, and installation details.
- Comfortable overseeing subcontractors, tracking daily progress, and keeping work aligned with schedule and quality expectations.
- Working knowledge of common construction equipment such as mini excavators, skid steers, forklifts, loaders, lifts, or comparable machinery.
- Strong judgment, dependability, and communication skills, with the ability to lead in active field conditions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to pass background screening and drug testing requirements tied to controlled or secure project environments.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds to waist height.
- Ability to work in active outdoor construction settings and perform movements such as kneeling, crouching, climbing, stooping, and reaching.
