Own the project from blueprint to buildout. Out of our Nashville, TN facility, you'll report to the Associate Vice President and bring together design and engineering, estimating, project management, and entrepreneurial business skills to deliver mechanical systems across our commercial projects, joining 1,000+ employees who build with precision and purpose.
You'll read and translate plans and specifications into operational realities, coordinate labor with superintendents, foremen, and clients, and manage the full scope of project execution, from evaluating quotations and selecting subcontractors to equipment selection, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. A solid understanding of commercial construction logistics, material and equipment handling, and construction-related accounting reports rounds out the role. WhatYou'll Own
- Understand commercial construction logistics, labor, material, and equipment handling.
- Read and understand plans and specifications and translate the information into operational realities.
- Understand basic business practices and read and interpret construction-related accounting reports.
- Facilitate the installation of mechanical systems.
- Coordinate labor with superintendents, jobsite foremen, and clients.
- Evaluate quotations and select and manage subcontractors.
- Manage equipment selection, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Required
- College degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC construction, including estimating, project management, and business development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
