We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our growing team in the Healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, have a keen eye for detail, and possess a proven track record of successfully managing commercial projects. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management. The Preconstruction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of preconstruction, including estimating, scheduling, and planning.
This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the preconstruction process for projects, including estimating, scheduling, planning, and procurement.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
3. Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall project scope, schedule, and cost.
4. Prepare and present preconstruction proposals and cost estimates to clients and stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with the project team to develop strategies and solutions to overcome potential project challenges.
6. Monitor and control project costs to ensure the project is completed within budget.
7. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the project meets or exceeds client expectations.
8. Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, including progress reports, schedule updates, and cost tracking.
9. Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the preconstruction phase. 10. Ensure all project activities comply with company policies and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing commercial projects from preconstruction through completion.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to analyze project plans and specifications to determine overall project scope, schedule, and cost.
7. Proficient in project management software and technology.
8. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
9. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 10. Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
