The Assistant Superintendent plays a critical role in supporting field operations and helping projects run safely, efficiently, and professionally from pre‑construction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is hands‑on, solutions‑oriented, and eager to grow into a leadership role within construction operations.
What You’ll Do- Support the Lead Superintendent in managing job‑site safety, quality, and schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and client walkthroughs.
- Complete punch list and warranty work with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Respond to warranty calls, assess scope, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Participate in project meetings, trainings, and industry events.
- Utilize project management and scheduling software to support project success.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Collaborative, team‑oriented approach and passion for construction.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and construction documents.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, CMiC, and construction management software.
- OSHA 30 certification, CMiC, Bluebeam, or Spanish proficiency are a plus.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
