Civil Superintendent

Job Type: Long-Term Contract Weekly per diem and travel reimbursements available for qualified out-of-state candidates

We are seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to support a major construction program.

This role requires a proven leader with at least 10 years of direct experience managing union construction crews on large-scale industrial construction projects. Candidates with experience on Department of Defense (DoD) or military installations are highly preferred, but individuals from power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, and other heavy industrial construction environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Lead and oversee daily civil construction activities in the field
• Manage union craft labor, foremen, and subcontractors
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and work sequencing
• Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule performance
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture
• Support project controls, change management, and construction planning efforts
• Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project progress
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project specifications and client requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing union construction crews
• Civil construction supervision experience on large industrial projects
• Strong background in heavy industrial construction environments
• Ability to lead large craft work forces and multiple subcontractors
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
