Electrical Project Manager

An established and rapidly growing electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This role is ideal for a driven construction professional who enjoys managing complex projects, leading teams, driving financial performance, and building strong client relationships. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from kickoff to completion
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls
• Lead preconstruction planning, manpower forecasting, and project setup activities
• Review labor productivity, project costs, material expenditures, and financial performance
• Monitor project progress and provide accurate forecasting throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with field leadership, preconstruction, prefabrication, and design teams to achieve project objectives
• Procure project materials and manage vendor and subcontractor relationships
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Engineers, Architects, and other project stakeholders
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, cost, and progress
• Mentor Foremen, Assistant Project Managers, and junior team members
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations
• Identify risks and proactively resolve project challenges to maintain project success
• Support project closeout activities, documentation, and final turnover

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Electrical Engineering degree is a plus
• 7+ years of electrical project management experience
• Experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, or data center projects preferred
• Experience using electronic bidding and estimating software
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, systems, and field operations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and forecasts
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
• Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven
• Professional attitude with a commitment to teamwork, integrity, and client satisfaction

• Electrical estimating experience required
• Experience with electronic bidding software
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and field operations
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
