We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our New Construction Division with a minimum of 2+ years of commercial experience. Our ideal candidate will have experience as a new mechanical construction project manager.

The Project Manager is involved in all processes from selling, pricing, quoting design build projects, design assisting, planning, coordinating, staffing, and executing commercial HVAC installation projects. They work with various other professionals and customers, including building owners, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the systems are installed within the allotted budget and schedule.

Responsibilities
  • New business development and sales.
  • Ensure project delivery is on schedule and within budget through comprehensive cost analysis and scope management. Validate project estimates and accurately input data into the financial systems.
  • Monitor project reports to assess status and determine necessary actions. Provide regular updates on project progress, costs, and budget adherence.
  • Conducted pre-construction planning meetings, documented outcomes, and followed up on action items. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with the overall master schedule.
  • Manage subcontractor agreements and equipment procurement to support project timelines and budgets.
  • Communicate project issues promptly to appropriate management levels.
  • Prepare project estimates, review final forecast, and ensure accurate entry into project financial systems.
  • Coordinate and submit monthly billing to maintain proper cash flow throughout project execution.
  • Resolve conflicts involving clients, vendors, trades, or Partners efficiently and professionally.
  • Develop policies and procedures aimed at continuous improvement.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect work progress, verify project status, and address any issues related to contracts or project delivery.
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in construction sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing projects directly for a commercial mechanical subcontractor.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in professional presentations.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a proactive work approach.
