The Senior Project Manager will lead large‑scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary leader responsible for project strategy, financial performance, client satisfaction, and team development while driving successful execution across every phase of construction.
Role and Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership for large, complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage all aspects of project execution including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, staffing, risk management, and client communication.
- Lead project financial performance through forecasting, cost control, billing, cash flow management, and profitability analysis.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, scope reviews, buyout, and contract administration.
- Partner closely with Superintendents to develop project logistics, sequencing, staffing plans, and construction strategies.
- Lead owner, architect, engineer, and consultant meetings while serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation to ensure timely project delivery.
- Identify project risks early and develop proactive solutions to maintain schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Coordinate internal resources including Preconstruction, Safety, Virtual Construction, Accounting, and Executive Leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers by providing technical guidance and leadership.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners to support repeat business and future opportunities.
- Ensure projects are executed in accordance with company safety standards, quality expectations, and contractual requirements.

- 7+ years of commercial construction experience with at least 3 years serving as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
- Proven experience leading large‑scale ground‑up commercial construction projects through all phases of construction.
- Strong background in project financial management, forecasting, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and owner relationships simultaneously.
- Thorough understanding of scheduling, project controls, construction sequencing, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior project management staff.
- Proficiency with construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, and project scheduling software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline preferred.
