The Project Manager at Legacy Concrete serves as the essential link between strategic planning and field execution. This role is responsible for ensuring that vision, financial objectives, and technical standards are clearly communicated to trade partners and construction teams, and meticulously delivered on every project site.

The Project Manager owns the operational lifecycle of each project: coordinating specialized subcontractors, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring every pour meets the Legacy promise of durability and precision.

Responsibilities Operational Excellence
  • Utilize Smartsheet daily to manage all operational and financial results.
  • Track and support the completion of company priority activities.
  • Review and resolve project document contradictions with the development team.
  • Facilitate RFIs with responsible parties to ensure technical clarity.
  • Assist Construction Managers with pre-pour and pre-construction meetings to ensure site readiness.
Subcontractor & Resource Management
  • Qualify, select, and manage subcontractors in alignment with Legacy standards.
  • Define and finalize subcontractor scopes of work specifically for concrete services.
  • Execute and maintain comprehensive subcontractor contract packages.
  • Manage the Contracted Schedule of Values for each trade partner.
  • Coordinate material deliveries (ready-mix, rebar, forms) and communicate readiness expectations.
  • Monitor performance regarding quality, safety, schedule, and cost compliance.
  • Manage and forecast project budgets to ensure accurate cost-to-complete.
  • Process subcontractor pay applications, including change orders and variance purchase orders.
  • Identify financial risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Present budget updates and financial metrics at monthly operations meetings.
Schedule Management
  • Ensure on-time project starts in accordance with the business plan.
  • Build and maintain project schedules with accurate milestones and trade assignments.
  • Lead weekly on-site meetings to resolve field issues and maintain momentum.
  • Identify and resolve schedule-critical issues such as weather delays, utility conflicts, and long-lead materials.
Quality & Safety
  • Conduct punch list walks and track completion of remedial work.
  • Ensure all municipal, third-party, and site inspections are completed successfully.
  • Enforce company safety rules and OSHA compliance on all jobsites.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality concrete work that meets structural and aesthetic standards.
