Construction Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to provide hands-on safety leadership across active commercial construction projects throughout the Nashville area. This field-based role is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, enforcing safety standards, and partnering with project teams to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.

The ideal candidate is comfortable spending the majority of the day on active jobsites, working directly with field personnel, subcontractors, and project leadership to promote a strong safety culture and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

• Conduct routine safety inspections on active commercial construction sites to identify hazards and verify compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Enforce safety policies with craft employees, foremen, subcontractors, and project management teams.
• Identify unsafe conditions and implement immediate corrective actions to prevent incidents.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including inspections, incident reports, corrective actions, and safety training records.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field leadership to address safety concerns and improve jobsite safety performance.
• Monitor changing jobsite conditions, including work at heights, scaffolding, ladders, excavations, heavy equipment, and other construction activities.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training to reinforce safe work practices.
• Maintain a visible field presence and proactively identify opportunities to improve overall safety performance.
