Assistant Superintendent

Green Key Resources is partnering with one of Nashville's premier healthcare-focused General Contractors to bring on an Assistant Superintendent for their growing field team.

• Support the Superintendent in the day-to-day field operations of healthcare construction projects.
• Assist with coordinating subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and manpower to maintain project schedules.
• Monitor work in the field to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Help manage short-term schedules, site logistics, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners throughout construction.
• Assist with identifying and resolving field issues to minimize schedule impacts and maintain project progress.
• Participate in subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and project coordination meetings.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, progress photos, and other project records.
• Help enforce site safety standards and promote a safe, organized jobsite.
• Support the Superintendent with quality control and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred.
• Experience working in a field-based construction role such as Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, or Project Engineer.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scheduling, and field coordination.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with subcontractors and project team members.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated to grow into a Superintendent role and take on increasing field leadership responsibilities.
