Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil and utility infrastructure projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This position is with a heavy civil general contractor specializing in water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and municipal infrastructure throughout Middle Tennessee.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing heavy civil or mechanical construction projects, excels at coordinating field operations and project teams, and is committed to delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader looking for long-term career growth and ownership of impactful infrastructure projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage heavy civil and utility infrastructure projects from contract award through project completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and execution plans.
Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
Coordinate with superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor project costs, schedules, labor productivity, and financial performance while identifying and mitigating project risks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and clients.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Lead project meetings and provide consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage project closeout activities, including commissioning support, punch lists, final documentation, and turnover.
