Civil Project Manager

A well-established and growing civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of site development and heavy civil projects throughout the Nashville area. • Manage multiple civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with owners, developers, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee project costs, contract administration, change orders, and monthly billing.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and quality while proactively addressing potential issues.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.
• Support procurement efforts, subcontractor negotiations, and material purchasing.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Mentor Project Engineers and other junior team members as the team continues to grow.

• 5+ years of experience managing civil construction or site development projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with projects involving earthwork, underground utilities, grading, paving, stormwater, concrete, and infrastructure improvements.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and cost control.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and civil engineering plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore, HCSS, Viewpoint, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Competitive base salary: $110,000–$150,000+ (commensurate with experience)
