Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join an established and growing structural steel organisation in the Nashville, Tennessee area
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a project management professional with a strong background in structural steel erection or commercial/industrial construction to take ownership of projects from initial planning through to completion.

You'll work closely with clients, fabricators, field teams, subcontractors and vendors, playing a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.

• Manage structural steel erection projects from pre-construction through final closeout
  .
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractors.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, fabricators, superintendents, vendors and other stakeholders
  .
• Manage RFIs, RFQs, change orders and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Monitor project performance against schedule, budget and quality requirements.
• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners.
• Support continuous improvement across project management processes.

• 10+ years of construction and/or structural steel experience
  .
• Proven experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, contracts and project scope
  .
• Experience working with subcontractors, vendors and multiple project stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working across both office and active job-site environments
  .
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management systems
  .
• Experience with Smartsheet or similar software would be advantageous.

A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline and/or PMP certification would be beneficial, but practical industry experience is highly valued.
