Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy civil and utility infrastructure projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This role is responsible for delivering complex infrastructure projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while managing project teams, field operations, subcontractors, and client relationships.
The ideal candidate has experience working for a heavy civil general contractor or mechanical contractor, with a proven track record managing projects involving water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, utility infrastructure, and municipal construction. Responsibilities- Manage heavy civil and utility infrastructure projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, cost forecasts, and execution strategies.
- Monitor project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor productivity, billing, cost control, and profitability.
- Coordinate superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of construction.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation to ensure successful execution.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement activities, contract administration, and project documentation.
- Lead project meetings while maintaining clear communication with owners, engineers, inspectors, consultants, and internal leadership.
- Identify project risks early and implement solutions to minimize schedule delays and budget impacts.
- Support field operations by ensuring crews have the equipment, materials, and resources needed to maintain production goals.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Oversee commissioning support, punch-list completion, project turnover, and final closeout documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, engineers, subcontractors, and project partners.
