Construction Safety Manager
We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across commercial construction projects throughout the Nashville area. This field-based role is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture through jobsite inspections, OSHA compliance, hazard identification, safety training, and collaboration with project teams to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has a proven background in commercial construction safety, enjoys working in the field, and is committed to protecting employees, subcontractors, and project partners while supporting successful project delivery.
ResponsibilitiesConduct routine safety inspections on commercial construction jobsites to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Identify unsafe conditions, recommend corrective actions, and verify timely resolution of safety concerns.
Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and subcontractors to promote safe work practices throughout all phases of construction.
Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective action recommendations.
Deliver new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training to reinforce safe work practices.
Maintain accurate inspection reports, training records, incident documentation, and regulatory compliance records.
Monitor high-risk construction activities, including fall protection, scaffolding, excavations, confined spaces, cranes, heavy equipment, and electrical work.
Serve as a visible safety leader by coaching field personnel and promoting continuous improvement in jobsite safety performance.
Stay current on OSHA regulations, industry standards, and construction safety best practices.
Support company-wide safety initiatives and foster a proactive, safety-first culture.
