A well-established General Contractor specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join its growing team in the Nashville market. This is an opportunity to lead complex municipal projects that directly impact local communities, including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and related utility infrastructure
.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing heavy civil or treatment plant construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining strong relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.

Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of water and wastewater construction projects ranging from several million to over $100M in value.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, contracts, change orders, and risk management.
- Coordinate with owners, municipal clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal construction teams.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on cost, schedule, safety, and quality performance.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and procurement activities.
- Support project pursuits, estimating efforts, and preconstruction planning as needed.
- Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of project management experience with a General Contractor.
- Experience managing water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, utility installations, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Experience with municipal and public works projects preferred.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
