A Nashville area commercial general contractor is looking for a Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is a strong fit for someone who knows how to manage the moving pieces of a complex commercial build, communicate effectively with owners and field teams, and keep projects on track financially and operationally.

Healthcare construction experience is highly preferred, including hospitals, medical offices, clinics, renovations, and other occupied healthcare environments.

• Manage projects from preconstruction through final completion
• Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and project documentation
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, cost reports, and forecasting
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and owners
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across the project team
• Monitor project financials and identify potential cost or schedule issues early
• Support subcontractor buyout and scope review
• Ensure project milestones, quality expectations, and client commitments are met
• Manage closeout, punch lists, turnover, and final documentation
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Experience working for a commercial general contractor
• Healthcare construction experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and cost control
• Experience managing projects with significant subcontractor and owner coordination
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
