We’re working with an established industrial construction client that is looking to add a Project Engineer / Jr. Estimator to their team.
This role has a strong focus on the preconstruction phase
, working alongside the Lead Estimator to develop accurate estimates, define project scope, coordinate pricing, and set projects up for successful execution.
- Support estimating, quantity takeoffs, scope development, and proposals
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors on pricing
- Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Support RFIs, budgets, proposal revisions, and scheduling
- Help transition projects from preconstruction into execution
- Background in electrical construction, estimating, or project engineering
- Ability to read electrical drawings and construction documents
- Understanding of construction scope, costs, and project sequencing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
