Role DescriptionThe Senior Scheduler will work closely with project management, field operations, and preconstruction teams to support planning and scheduling activities throughout the project lifecycle. This individual will serve as a key scheduling resource across multiple projects, helping teams develop realistic schedules, identify potential risks, evaluate sequencing, and implement strategies to keep projects on track.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and analyze CPM project schedules.
- Collaborate with project and field teams regarding sequencing, durations, logistics, procurement, and milestones.
- Review schedules for critical path, float, constraints, and potential risks.
- Participate in jobsite visits to evaluate progress and field conditions.
- Assist with identifying schedule delays, impacts, and potential mitigation strategies.
- Support pull planning, short-term planning, and subcontractor coordination.
- Prepare schedule updates, reports, and narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with preconstruction and pursuit activities, including schedule development, phasing, and logistics planning.
- Contribute to scheduling processes, tools, and best practices across the organization.
- Provide scheduling guidance and support to project teams.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction, scheduling, project management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and project execution.
- Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, critical path, float, and schedule logic.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with recovery schedules and schedule impact analysis.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
